    From manual to robotic TIG to spot and seam resistance, EMI maintains diverse welding capabilities approved to OEM & military standards. Our automatic TIG welding equipment handles weld to 48 inches and rotary welding to 60 inches. Resistance welding equipment includes spot and seam welding, with all associated test equipment for control of the weld quality.

    In house Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection and X-Ray inspection allow quick development time of new welding parameters.

Quality Control

At EMI, quality is built-in.

EMI is a registered AS9100D company. From surface plate layout inspection to 3D modeling with 6 CMM’s, our experienced quality department maintains a full complement of inspection equipment traceable to the NIST. In-process quality control at every step of the manufacturing process insures a quality product for delivery. Required NDT’s and most functional testing is performed in house.
